Finland - South Africa Association was founded in 1990 to promote contacts with the new South Africa and Finland after the abolishment of the apartheid system.

Today it works to promote contacts between Finnish and South African individuals, as well as organisations, and to spread information about the South African population, culture and economy. The Association is not committed to any political party or pressure group.
